DR. BRUCE BIKSON
Dr. Bruce Bikson is a lifelong resident of Kansas City. He went to college at Washington University in St. Louis. Dr. Bikson graduated from the UMKC School of Dentistry in 1984 and started his own practice the next year. He was commissioned First Lieutenant in the US Army in 1988.
Dr. Bikson believes that your time is valuable and you shouldn't have to wait for him. He believes that you came to see the doctor, so he will spend as much time as you need. He believes in telling you what his is doing and showing you what you need.
Dr. Bikson is proud to provide you with the best quality work possible with the latest materials and techniques. His attention to details is what sets him apart from his peers. Whether he is improving your smile or your ability to eat.
Dr. Bikson is married to Dr. Shari Berl. They have two children, Scott, a mechanical engineer and Carie a graduate student at the University of Washington in Seattle. He is a full Colonel and commands the 2290th US Army Hospital in Washington, DC.
DR. MELISSA BROWN
Dr. Melissa L. Brown is a life-long resident of the Kansas City area and has practiced general family dentistry since graduating from the UMKC School of Dentistry in 2001. Dr. Brown received her undergraduate degree from the University of Kansas, a B.S. in Organismal Biology, in 1995.
Dr. Brown has enjoyed working in a number of parts of the metro area over the years including offices in South Kansas City, Overland Park, Shawnee and Lenexa. Dr. Brown’s gentle chair-side manner has helped her establish and maintain long-standing relationships with her patients.
As a member of the Great Plains Study Club, Dr. Brown has the privilege learning from and lending her expertise to a number of local general dentists and specialists. Dr. Brown has also attended national continuing education courses sponsored by the American Dental Association in locations such as New Orleans and San Francisco.
Dr. Brown and her family are active members of Church of the Ascension parish in Overland Park. Dr. Brown enjoys attending KU athletic events with her husband, Greg, and spending quality time with their sons John and Charlie.
